Dr. Mark Chavez, a San Diego physician, became the third individual to plead guilty in connection with Matthew Perry's fatal overdose. On Wednesday, Chavez entered a plea in federal court for conspiring to distribute ketamine, following a plea agreement reached in July. He has agreed to cooperate with prosecutors as they pursue charges against Dr. Salvador Plasencia, who allegedly provided ketamine directly to Perry, and Jasmine Sangha, known as the “ketamine queen” of Los Angeles. In court, Chavez admitted to supplying multiple vials and lozenges of the drug, and he listened as prosecutors detailed his actions.
