Aspiring officers looking to join the nation’s largest municipal police force must first tackle the “Job Standard Test,” a tough obstacle course designed to assess their speed, strength, and endurance under pressure.

To qualify for the NYPD’s six-month police academy training in Flushing, recruits must complete six challenging tasks in under 4 minutes and 28 seconds, all while wearing a 14-pound weighted vest.

Fail any section, and you’re out. The course starts with a climb: candidates must sprint 50 feet from a kneeling position and then scale a 6-foot chain-link fence in the Police Academy Gym, with three attempts allowed to clear it.

There’s no time to rest, though—next comes the six-stair system, where recruits must complete three over-and-back runs, equivalent to climbing four stories.

Patrick Mahomes had a break from work after the Kansas City Chiefs secured a bye in the AFC playoffs. However, that doesn’t mean he and his wife, Brittany, had a quiet few days.

Brittany shared a black-and-white photo on Instagram of her holding a pair of tiny feet in her hands. The reason? On Sunday, she and Patrick welcomed their third child, a baby girl named Golden Raye.

First off, what an adorable and beautiful name—plus, it’s fun to say (go ahead, give it a try). The name choice also continues a unique theme with their other two children, Bronze (a boy) and Sterling (a girl). Honestly, it’s one of the coolest naming trends parents can pull off.

It turns out, Mahomes had been focused on securing the No. 1 seed partly because of Golden’s upcoming arrival. After the Chiefs clinched the top seed on Christmas Day with a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Patrick mentioned that he wanted to have the top seed locked in before his daughter’s birth.
