Start your morning with this affirmation:

Pilates, a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century.

Pilates, a system of exercises designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, and posture, has become increasingly popular.

As you transition from a beginner to an intermediate, the complexity and intensity of routines elevate, bringing a new set of challenges and rewards.

This intermediate level not only reinforces the foundations but also introduces more complex and challenging exercises, encouraging you to push the boundaries of your physical and mental capabilities.

In this intermediate phase is where you truly start to connect deeply with your inner strength, using Pilates not just as an exercise form but as a way of life.

The 2024 Golden Globes red carpet saw a resurgence in viewership, with 9.4 million viewers tuning in, marking a 50 percent increase from the previous year. Leading the style game were six prominent fashion brands.

Dior dressed 19 celebrities, with Natalie Portman winning WWD's Best-Dressed Style Award in a stunning Dior Haute Couture dress. Louis Vuitton showcased its creative directors, Pharrell Williams and Nicolas Ghesquière, with Emma Stone and Oprah Winfrey making bold statements in custom Louis Vuitton creations.

Prada impressed with Ayo Edebiri, Hunter Schafer, Brie Larson, Bella Ramsey, and Willem Dafoe donning their standout designs. Schiaparelli, revitalized by Daniel Roseberry, made waves with Dua Lipa and Carey Mulligan. Lastly, Gucci, under Sabato De Sarno, captivated with Taylor Swift and Julia Garner embracing its fresh aesthetic.

Giorgio Armani continued to be a red carpet favorite, dressing Margot Robbie, Selena Gomez, and Amanda Seyfried, reaffirming its enduring influence in Hollywood.

Selena Gomez is set to portray Linda Ronstadt in an upcoming biopic, as confirmed by Variety. The announcement was hinted at by Gomez through an Instagram post featuring Ronstadt's 2013 memoir, "Simple Dreams."

The biopic, currently in pre-production, involves producers like Ronstadt's manager, John Boylan, and James Keach, who produced the 2019 documentary about Ronstadt. Linda Ronstadt, a legend in country, rock, and Latin music, is known for her successful albums in the 1970s, such as “Heart Like a Wheel” and “Simple Dreams,” and has won 11 Grammys.

Both Ronstadt and Gomez share Mexican descent. Gomez, recognized for her role in “Only Murders in the Building” and her music career, will be stepping into the shoes of Ronstadt, whose career spanned nearly five decades before her retirement in 2011 due to progressive supranuclear palsy.

Stuff we're loving this week

💪 Supplement: So many protein powders, so little time to try them all. We're currently loving Eggylicious Whole Egg Protein. Every body is different, so being able to customize your own protein blend down to the flavor is pretty clutch.

🚿 Next level self-care: Consider starting the day with this ultra-luxurious body wash.

📝 A good question: Are you a beginner in Pilates?
