Sydney Sweeney isn’t holding back in criticizing what she calls Hollywood’s "faux feminism."

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the actress and producer described the highly publicized “women empowering women” movement in Hollywood as entirely “fake.” Her remarks come after longtime producer Carol Baum questioned Sweeney's star appeal earlier this year, saying she was “not pretty” and “can’t act.”

At the time, Sweeney's representative told Variety it was “sad that a woman [Baum] in a position to share her expertise chooses instead to attack another woman.” The statement continued, “If this is what she’s learned from decades in the industry and feels it’s appropriate to teach her students, it’s shameful. To unfairly disparage a fellow female producer says a lot about Ms. Baum’s character.”
